I wanted my 83 1100 to be a little louder so i could hear the bike and instead of spending hundreds on a new exhaust system i used a reciprocating saw to cut off the end tips up to the muffler, not only does it look better in my opinion but it sounds great, gives it a deeper louder noise. now this of course will devalue your exhaust and potentially the bike but for my Oldwing it was worth it.
