Students used paper clips and small cubes as informal measuring tools.

Students compared thier informal messuing tools to a standard ruler.

Students used their all three forms of messurment to to measure given items.

Students continued to measure items getting larger and larger.

Students then were given a larger object to estimate the length of based on their previous measurments.
