Year and model will also help a lot??? It should have more digits/letters on the serial tag on the triple tree head.

 

GL1100-4608 is all that is there.

engine# GL1E-1004728 vin#on stamp and embossed in frame on right side is GL1-1004608

what color is it? 1975s were a green and black I believe and 76s were a red and yellow (I had a yellow one)

thanks for the help. The bike is for sure '75 gl1000 but there is a little confusion on engine whether a 1000 or 1100. But with further investigation I'll find out,
