Helibar Risers vs Helibar multi-axis replacement handlebars

I have a 2022 DCT (non tour) GW. The risers are $129; The handlebars are $799. I'm 5'7" and with stock handlebars and my Utopia backrest, I was stretched to the point of discomfort aka pain. After a couple of hours, neck, back, shoulders were not happy. It wasn't even close to being acceptable unless I was willing to disregard the backrest. The combo didn't work.
Given the price differential on the Helibar products, I figured I'd try the Risers. The Risers, according to the website, raise the bars 9/16" higher and 2 1/4" toward the rider. If that's the case, the Risers just didn't make THAT much of a difference for me. I tried to like them, I wanted them to work... at $129 I wanted to believe, but no. Better? Yes, but not enough. Tolerable... maybe but it could be better and that's what I was after.

Bring on the Helibar multi-axis replacement handlebars. Trust me, I didn't want to spend $800 on handlebars but I wanted/needed a solution. The handlebars are shipped pre-configured to raise the bars 1" and move them 2" toward the rider. That's waht the literature states. I installed the handlebars. According to the stated parameters of vertical and horizontal displacement, there shouldn't be THAT much difference between the Risers vs the Handlebars. Well, I don't know (I didn't meausre before and after), but the handlebars are a HUGE improvement even in their pre-configured state. I haven't even dialed them in yet but they're damn near perfect just like they are. I'll have to put some miles/hours on them and see what, if any, fine adjustments I have to make but I can tell you this... It you are not completely comfortable with your position, you must try these.

Bob/Auburn, I've ridden once (250 miles) since I added the HBars. I made some adjustments (a little closer/lower) and will try a ride this evening. I can say this with no hesitation; the HBars are the most significant change/addition I've made to the GW regardless of price. All neck, shoulder, back pain and stiffness... GONE
