Thank you Gentlman for the warm welcome.... I will be roaming around the site to become more familiar. I will be doing the big ride in a little over two weeks I will do a trip report of course. I am very happy with my Goldwing it is a motorcycle ...it handles great and it is impressive in many areas, but look who I am telling...:D you all already know that.

You can catch up with 3 Commanders as well as a Who's Who on the GWOF if you come to Frackville, Pa. in August:)

I just checked...it is 1800 miles from Roswell NM so it would take less than two days to get there...it may be do able if I can arrange a few things. Let me know the dates and I will see....

Here's our plan for the Mates from Down Under Tour

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Mates & their entourage are expected to be arriving on Wed. the 22nd. As of now Two Wheel & I will be with them as we are riding out to escort everyone in. I'm sure they wil be needing some relax time at that point. We have some things planned on Thurs. the 23rd, the Feast & Meet/Greet wil be on Fri. the 24th (schedule soon to be released), I need to chauffeur Eric & Vanessa to the Airport on Sat the 25th.

This was the bike that I completed four of the six Iron Butt Rides I have completed. It is a Triumph Rocket III I road it for six years. When I bought my new wing I had to trade it in to knock down some of the cost on the new bike. It is great bike but lacks all the extras that the Wing has...and it is very unforgiving if you do not respects it's power....it could lift the front tire off the ground in first and second gear. The guy who bought two weeks after I traded it in totaled it in less than two weeks. He broke his leg, arm and four ribs. That said I think the Wing is a great bike and I know out of all the bikes I tried ...including the BMW GTL1800 the Wing is the best.

The first photo was the day I traded her in for my new baby.....by the way I have named my new bike Mile Eater and my old bike was named Massive.

Chop actually I can cover more territory, because I can ride longer with less fatigue on the Wing...as much as I liked my old bike the new one is better......
