I do my bikes through Progressive. They allow 4 bikes per policy. I had five insured as riders when I bought the Wing so I had to add it to the policy with one bike which was the TL1000R. The TL ran me $60 ish per month by itself. When I added the Wing to the policy it went up $4 per month ha ha ..... seriously. That's full coverage with $1000 deductable comp and collision. No accidents and 40 years with a bike license. When I asked why it was so much cheaper that the TL, I was told the TL is listed as a Super Bike which is worse than a sportbike. He said the TL crash rate was the worst at Progressive ever. The other 4 bikes run me $55 per month. So 6 insured bikes including the Wing for around $120 a month.

OK, so just got back from a short ride, 175 miles return. Weather was awesome, as was the scenery. B.C.'s Thompson - Okanagan region truly has some spectacular rides.

So for my American friends, the temperature hit 76 F. on the return. Rode from my mountain home in Sun Peaks, (where folks are still skiing) to Clearwater, around 87 miles each way.

All in all, a great way to start the riding season.

That's tempting Ed. I am off that weekend...I might have to send a note off to Keith and see if he and Di are thinking of attending. Bit of a rush ride for herself, but then she can't come along all the time!:LaughAtYou:

If that doesn't work I'll beg forgiveness when I get home that Monday afternoon.:Dang:

Not sure we are going to make it this year, an old back issue has raised it's ugly head. Was into the Doc. today had some Xrays and have been referred to a Back Specialist, have to wait now to see what he has to say.

I've contacted some of the AB GWRRA reps to see if I can drum up some additional folks to head out. Hopefully the weather co-operates beter than last time I went!
