Two happy guys!

Dad and I have been looking for 2 wings for several months and we finally found them. I can remember being 7 or 8 years old and my dad saying how much he would like to have a goldwing, I’m 43 now. Raising a family kept him from buying one. I’m much more happy for him than I am for myself and hope we get to make a lot of memories. You go Dad! P.S. I introduced myself a couple of weeks ago but didn’t have a bike yet.

1. Enjoy your new Wings!
2. Savor the rides, long or short.
3. Above all else: take a long trip with your dad, 6 or 7 days, maybe a little more and go someplace special. Trust me on this one! You will never regret it.
4. Red is still the fastest color. 😁

I'm beyond jealous. My dad used to ride in the '60s, '70s, and into the early '80s. He ended up going down in some inclement weather and walked away. Other than pictures of me as a toddler (in the early '70s) sitting with him on his Yamaha, I really didn't know he rode (parents divorced when I was young, didn't see him a whole lot as he was law enforcement and we moved around a lot). When I took up motorcycles about 4 years ago - like your dad, I waited for our sons to graduate HS before I did it - I reached out to him to see if he wanted to do some traveling together. Emphatically said no, even to getting a trike.

So please, enjoy those beautiful bikes and make great memories that will last a lifetime!
