I ride the bike to work and home every day, about 70 mile round trip. I need to buy a new battery for my car, and can order them thru work at a discount. Is the trunk on my 85 aspencade strong enough to hold it for the 35 mile trip home? Or is the battery going to be too heavy.

I agree with the good dr./ Don't take a chance.....tie it down on the back seat.

The load limit is 20 pounds in the trunk. I wouldn't recommend it, unless the battery is for a very small car.

Thanks guys, never even thought about puting it down on the back seat. Sounds like a good idea.
