I'm sure this has been discussed here before but I couldn't find what I was looking for so,

I am retiring in less than two weeks and I am planning a short trip to North carolina in june, then the last week of august I am planning on driving to California and back. for both trips I would like to pull a trailer (borrowed) but I still need to get a hitch for the goldwing, any suggestions on the brand and model of hitch. thanks

Look for your model which I think is 1800. I recently bought the receiver hitch for my 1500. It has a square tube receiver just like for a car or truck. Cost is 150-200.

I put up a post here and found one very reasonably. I welded a 1" tube receiver as it gives you future options not only to pull a trailer but also a small carrier to add just a cooler or small piece of luggage.

I have the Rivco hidden hitch and like it very much. only 8 pounds, and very sturdy. I pull a Roadstar Bushtec with it.
