I own a 1986 Interstate (GL1200). I would like to know what the front and back tire pressure should be ideally. I do not have a user manual, so have been guessing ehst they should idealy be ? Can anyone please help me out. Thanks.

The owner's manual says:
Up to vehicle load capacity:
Front -- 32psi
Rear -- 40psi
Up to 200lb. load capacity:
Front -- 32psi
Rear -- 32psi
However, I'd be much more inclined to go by the rating on the tire itself. I have the new E3s on my '87 at 40 rear, 37 front.

I would say 38 ft. 40 rear.

The tires should have a pressure rating on the side. Start with that number and adjust to where you like without going over the maximum.
