Got home from work tonight to find a letter from American Honda. Enclosed was an 8 page owners survey of the Goldwing, anyone else recieve one of these? It didn't specifically say it was for 2012, just new Goldwing. Oh and it came with a $1 bill for my trouble:p

Too bad they didn't send you 20,000 of those surveys with the $ in them. Then you could have paid cash for the new Wing......

Up here Honda Canada contacts selected numbers of m/c and atv purchasers by phone and conducts a NMOI (new m/c owners inquiry) that we as dealers get graded on. Maybe this is how Honda USA surveys their new owners. Oh, and our customers don't get the $ either:(

I should have known better to seal the envelope before posting! Catagories were engine, transmission, ergonomics, audio, navigation, what future features interested me (ie home link, adjustable seat, windshield, bluetooth, HID headlamps, adaptive headlamps, cooled seat, power center stand, back-up camera, passenger video entertainment system and more I don't remember), favorite features, features that influenced purchase, how much riding and what kind and the usual info about the purchaser. 4 pages front and back.

Some of what is mentioned sounds more like to pertains to a Honda automobile than a Goldwing. Back up camera and passenger video entertainment system? Add two more wheels and call it a Civic.

That's a lot of work for a buck. Are you supposed to feel obligated for the gift ? They didn't listen to the hopes of the new Wing back in 2010. I can't believe they didn't make the whole audio system Bluetooth compatible.

I like this question: 11. how long to you expect to keep your GL (-3,3-5,6+)?
Answer: When all the salvage yards have run out of parts, when I can no longer rebuild it or it just quits running or blows up.
I had a 1982 Chevy S-10 that I parted with in 2004 for a 2003 Ford Ranger.
That S-10 had over 100,000 miles on it, had electrical issues that I kept patching up, blew blue some upon starting, but it ran and ran despite its handicaps.

Well now they finally ask the question of " New Features ". Mechanically it is the same old running bike that has been around for the last ten years ( one we have come to know and love ). Here's your chance to design the " new " features for the next lucky buyer.
