My stoplights don't work. I checked the fuse & relay. Both OK. Still no stoplights. Any ideas ?

Are they inoperative with both hand and foot brake?

It's connected to the trailer and all lights work except the stop lights. Bulbs OK.

What happens if you disconnect the trailer?

Did you try swapping out the relay?

Yes ... I disconnected the trailer . made no difference. No, I haven't changed the relay. But it does work.

Tail lights

I found the problem The previous owner had fitted a "black box" that made the tail lights flicker three times before going solid. I threw it out and went back to standard.

All OK now. Thanks for your help.
