I am new to Goldwings, But most other motorcycles will start in gear with the clutch pulled in. My wifes 1989 which is a CSC trike will not start in gear. This is the second trike I have seen this on . Any help would be appreciated.

with the motor running and in gear if i put the kickstand down on my 1500 it will kill the engine

I am not sure what kind of setup the trike has, but my 85 aspencade will start with the clutch pulled in, but if you leave the kickstand down it will put you in the ditch.

im thinking since he said trike !! there is no kickstand

i got that bob but the switch may still be there or something in the wireing for it causing the problem
