Bike has 150k plus miles on it and I'm thinking about replacing the spark plugs on it before riding season starts. What is the best route to go, newer style performance plugs or stick with stock Honda Plugs (or the equivalent)
I changed my standard plugs out a couple seasons back for the iridium ones since they work so well in my snowmobiles and my track bike (comes from the factory with them in the RC51). TBH, I can't notice any difference except in the wallet in the Wing...
I just stick with the standard NGK plugs. My bike has always run great. I changed my last set out at 30K miles. They were just nearing the replacement gap. You can get them at the auto parts store at a better price then the dealer. The ones from the dealer are the same plug, just in a fancy Honda printed box for a few bucks more per plug.
when I changed the plugs on my 1500 wing I too went with iridium plugs, hope they last longer than seven years
