Hey friends, does anyone have any experience with a product for preventing flat tires called Slime? It's a green liquid that is used before a tire has problems and is supposed to coat the inside of the tire to keep it from going flat should one run over a small object like a nail. Was wondering if it causes any balance problems ?

Great for low speed garden/farm equipment. Not for anything which travels more than 30 mph as it will cause tire balance problems

I hear it is caustic to aluminum but unconfirmed. until I am sure, I will stick to coventional repair methods.

From what I've heard discussed on motorcycle forums, most riders will not use it on their bikes. Issues with it reacting with the aluminum rims and also when taking the tire off later. Just what I've heard, personally I have never used it in any vehicle, 4 or 2 wheels...
