So I noticed under med/high speeds front brakes have a slight shudder/vibration to the, rotors dont look bad at all, feels like abs kind of.... now thinking, is it possible this 1980 gl1100 has abs ? lol

off to check now, any thoughts ?

Warped rotor, tire out of balance, worn front fork springs, steering head worn. Those are my guess's.

Gerard, No ABS on your 1100. Sorry to say.

Rotor warpage is hard to see, wont notice it until you replace the rotors.
If it does it with both foot brake pedal as well as hand brake, it could be something else like steerring head bearing.

You can check rotor warp-age with a dial indicator.

Check to see if the piston in the brake caliper is retracting too.

Rain in Vancouver? How unusual hehe. The rain we get these days is white and lumpy. Doesn't take much of a warp to make a brake pulsate. Good luck to you.
