Really ??? Is it possible that no one out there uses that Scott's stainless steel spin on oil filter? I find that hard to believe. Was just wanting to know the good , the bad, and the ugly about it.

Never heard of it actually. Pretty hooked on the Amsoil filters myself.

What would be the point? I would think it would be very expensive and why the Stainless steel anyway? It's hidden so looks would not be an issue.... and the Super Tech filter from Walmart does a very respectable job for under $3. So again, what would be the point?

Well, I googled it and the reason I would not buy one is that it cost $139~! I can afford to spend that if I wish... and I wouldn't. That is just plain wrong. I have never had a motorcycle, car, or truck that failed because of a filter... a plain old everyday oil filter gets changed on a regular basis and has served me well.

But... to each his own!
