I have been looking into purchasing a comm unit for my 2008 GL1800.
I have seen this Scala Rider G4 and have looked into the J&M HS8154, 279 Deluxe and 629 Elite series units.
I have a need to bluetooth connection for my phone too.

Please give me your opinions and comments...

The Scala works for me: Phone Bluetooth, passenger to driver, other riders with a Scala brand. Sponge. Last year I bought a paired set ( that's two complete units together in one box ) from " Riders Discount " for $279 delivered. Check out " Riders Discount " and talk to Nathan.

+1 On Scala G4. I just bought 2 sets for a trip we just took. Works with my iPhone and rider to rider communication was great.
