I have a 2018 Goldwing Tour. I went down when I pulled up to a stop sign and did not notice the pot hole by my left foot. The passenger back rest hit the curb/ground and I got a tear in it. My shoe repair guy put a leather patch on the rip-however that repair is coming unglued. I was considering upgrading my seat-but it is $$$. Anyone have a back rest to get rid of they replaced with a plush one? Or a source for an OEM passenger backrest? Or experience with aftermarket seats they would recommend?

Check to see if there is a FibreNew franchise near you, that's all they do is repair seats, both vinyl and leather.

They specialize in high-end autos and boats for dealers, fitness equipment for gyms, RVs, etc.

Find an auto upholstery near you and they will recover or refill and recover for a fraction of the cost. Had my daughter's bike seat completely redone from pan up for $80.
