One of the best rides I've never taken on my bike. jdgw: In MILEAGE terms, I live about 150 miles closer to your ride destination area; but in TIME terms, I feel like I'm years away. Funny the places we went too with the kids and luggage pack in the car now take on a feeling of " never been there yet " when seen as a motorcycle ride.

Thank you for this succinct report. I think BRP and the Dragon are on my itinerary for next season. I've used up my long trip riding time for the season.

Looks like good fun

Great pics and videos. Always enjoy the BRPW and Skyline Dr. Need to put them back on my "to do" list for the future. Ride safe and thanks for the trip..

Always makes me think of my many rides to the Smokies and the Gap! My favorite place to go. I'm 400 miles North of that area. Have rode the Gap many times-always a joy, along w/many good bike roads in the surrounding area!

Great pics, went there in the middle of May. 730 miles the first day,650 of it in the rain from Wisconsin, met my brother in Alcoa. The fog on the BRP sure looks similar to what we experienced. Your pictures take me back, thanks.

Beam me up Scotty...Scotty, are you listening? Soooo much scenery and so little time. Time to trade my sales gig in for a moto-journalist stint. Lottery tickets maybe? BRP and the Gap are on the list, just a matter of figuring out how to git 'r dun!
