I've got some cracks here and there on my 1500. read about using JB Weld but has anybody got any other input on this? Also, one of the grommet pins has broke at the base of the pin. How bout that?
Thanks

Scottwings54,

I too read about JB weld but you can also use ABS plastic pipe cement. Our panels are made of ABS. Don't use Multi-purpose or PVC use ABS (black).

Body panel repair

Thanks for the reply. It's good to know there are various ways to repair these covers. Going back thru old threads on this site I've also seen a product called Plastifix. That took me to a website -( http://www.urethanesupply.com) -that is a great resource for many types of plastic repair and restoration. So now instead of thinking that I may have been looking at replacement and a new paint job ($$$!) I just have to fit the right method to the right job and it will come out OK.

This place was mention as being a very good source for repair.
I haven't used them and cannot say from personal experience.
