I can’t get the axle bolt out of my 1500 front wheel. I have the cinch bolts removed and it won’t move.
What is the secret.
My last 1500 tire change was 18 years ago

It must be rusted in place, knock it out with a block and hammer without damaging the treads. When you get it out clean it well and grease the excel.

the first time I changed the front on my 1500 it was like it had grown to the bike

I had a philips screw driver that would just fit through the drilled hole through the head of the axle bolt
I wasn't afraid of bending the screw driver, this gave something to smack with a hammer to try to break it loose
and then a double handle to help finish wiggling it free
then I had to use some emory cloth to polish it and the fork back up a bit
