A bunch of us just pick up a remote wireless tire pressure monitor for motorcycles at an amazing price. This is the type that screws onto the tire valve. Does anyone have any info on this type?
The one in this link looks the same as what we bought.

I read the one review on Hal's site and the user claimed the weight of the sensor, coupled with the centrifugal force, cracked his valve stem. I suspect they did not have metal valve stems. The 1800 comes stock with rubber stems.

I had that exact system on my 08 Gold Wing, they are O.K. to monitor your tires I found them to be off a pound or two, no big deal. But in order to check the accurate tire pressure or add air you have to remove them and that takes a small wrench that is supplied, still no big deal. For the money it's a good unit. My Kawasaki C14 has an internal TPMS and it's great. I never had a problem with the extra weight on the valve stems just make sure the keepers are in place.
