First of all, khaos69, welcome to the forum.

There are back brake pads. I suspect they might be bad, if you can hear them 'rubbing'.

Ummm if there is no back brake pads .....then that is where the noise is comming from.....you need to install new rear brake pads.

It could be that the rear brake is dragging, also could be a rear bearing has or is going bad. That can be check by putting the bike on the center stand and getting hold of the bottom of the tire and try moving it side to side, if you got movement, it could be the bearing or the socket that the bearing mounts in has become stretched. I've seem that one one 1200 this year and heard of another.
Personally I hope it's just your rear brake needs to be reworked.

Ditto on the brake/noise thing, rear pads are likely done. What's the mileage on the bike? BTW, howdy and welcome!
