Welcome to the site Sam. I'm sure there is more than one outfit that does modifications that will have a conversion to allow you to operate the rear brake system from the handlebar lever what with all the amputees riding trikes and other conversions (Voyager etc) out there. Wing brake systems are linked, so you are still using two pistons (on the 1800's both front and rear discs use 3 piston calipers) on each front disc and one on the rear caliper with the lever. So you still have pretty effective braking with just the front lever activated. The foot brake activates the remaining two pistons on the front discs, and two on the rear disc so you still have pretty solid braking with just the lever. I'd look into a conversion though. Maybe Trike Lady can shed some light on the three wheel braking systems available.
