I bought one two days ago that is also a Trike conversion and I have a couple of questions.

Do they burn premium gas, middle grade, or regular because I don't want to hurt the motor by running the wrong grade. I burn the middle grade in my 1800 VTX Trike.

This bike hasn't been ridden much for the last 3 or 4 years and so I'm thinking of running Seafoam in the gas to clean the Carbs, and upper end of the engine. Is this a good idea with a Motorcycle?

I'm not new to bikes just Goldwings.

Thanks,

Art

I normally run 87 octane.
I believe in using any type of fuel system treatment in the correct 'Dose'. Those large cans treat 20 gallons or more, I do the math and I use 1 oz per gallon.

Run regular and the Wing will be fine.

All the 1500 and 1800 are designed to run best on 87. All premium does is 'enrichen' the boys at Shell.
