sorry cantankerous but i'm after a nekked wing, a 1200 with any luck. but with a little work that 1500 should make a nice wing for someone, good luck selling it

I'll put it this way.
You know how when you fall you tend to grab the first thing that's handy? Well the closest thing was the trunk of the bike.

Sorry to hear Tankerous.
If that's what happened, is there any chance of patching it back together with ABS glue and some ABS plastic pieces for support.
I repaired the lid on a friends 1500 with that stuff.

No, I think it's a lost cause. The luggage rack went through the trunk lid. I'll just get another lid.

Well that's certainly not as bad as I imagined. I know you're bummed out but it's a setback only.I'll put it this way.
