I have progressive suspension installed on my "02" GL1800 front and rear.. (Progressive Series 460 Rear Shock). Also a Fork brace, Amsoil synthetic fork oil, and tapered steering head bearings. All these mods really makes the bike handle well and ride smooth. Recently I started having problems with the 460 rear shock, I can't adjust the dampening and I don't think the the dampening is working at all from the feel of it. Has anyone else used the Series 460 rear shock and has any one had any problems with it. Progressive no longer makes the shock for the GL1800. I have talked to progressive about it and I am waiting to hear back from them about how they want to handle it. It is a major diassembly project to remove the shock for the motorcycle.:) I'm curious, any input or helpful info?
