Lots of thing to do, beaded seat cushion, sheepskin seat cover, gel pad, Wal-Mart seat cushion, or go to a medical supply place and look at the big variety of pads for wheel chair seats. Some have bought a small wheel barrel inner tube and put a small amount of air in it, threw a cover on it and sat on it and say it works great.

For your saddlesores I would suggest ice and a nice recliner...

bucknife since you're riding a 2010 I'll assume that the bike is new to you. If so there are lot of other factors that can lead to your uncomfortability. Does your bike have Highway pegs? Do you have a backrest? These are 2 important items in my mind as well as others. Just to be able to shift to a different leg position will make a huge difference. Tell us a little more of your situation & I'm sure we can zero in & help.

thanks fossil92 for the reply. the goldwing has no backrest but does have kuriakan hiway pegs with switchblades on them. not to crazy about the pegs kinda hard to get my long legs around to front cowling to get to. will get backrest as soon as funds allow. ordered the bead seat cover today to try out figured for 19 bucks couldnt hurt. it is new to me it only has 3400 miles on it.

My brother has the Switchblades as well. I don't think he uses them much (the switchblade part). If you have long legs put a set of these on your Wingstuff wishlist. I have 2 friends both are well over 6 ft. & they bought these & it made a big difference.

Keep that backrest on the wishlist as well. Those 2 things alone will probably do the trick.

If the beadcover doesn't do it, you could have your seat modified. Some places are pretty reasonable. Custom seats are an option but $$$ too.

One thing I found out Buck was that I was not relaxing and that alone was the reason I got a back ache on my 2010 'Wing. Once I just sat back in the seat and relaxed... I was fine.
But I won't presume to say that is the cause of your sore tailbone, or suggest you might be anxious when on your new wing... just an observation with respect to my pain.
