Should have seen all of the people on the beach taking pics with that in the background. I too love to take sunrises and sets. Have to have the camera with you at all times.

Thanks for the picture. It was a great weekend to be out and about. Too bad I was tied up with honey-do's and had only one good day to ride.

There is always the time of the year where you lads in the South get to rub it in to us Billy Yanks that you still are riding regular.

Hey I would do it too. Looks like you had beautiful weather & glad your ride was safe. Keep on Keeping on!

A couple hours east. Take the scenic trip: Higway 90 and down to Dauphin Island and take the ferry across Mobile Bay. Stop in Ocean Springs, MS and eat at McElroy's, good seafood restaurant. Orange Beach is just east of Gulf Shores, AL.

Thanks crownfire for the directions. I was going to also say it is about 30 miles west of Pensacola, FL. Beautiful aviation museum there.

Hey crownfire, my brother lives in Brandon so am up that way a bit. Maybe we could get together for a ride one day. If you ever come down this way let me know. Still work part-time but have Friday's/Saturday's off. Am a retired Baptist minister so I still do the Sunday thing.

I have every-other Friday off. Let me know when you are in the area.

I lived on the coast (Bay St. Louis, MS) for 22 years. Moved up here 2 years ago. Lots of great places to ride there and it doesn't stay cold as long.

Whoa...came out of Memphis so don't know the eatin spots down there. Shoot me some names of some "sit down in bikers clothes" type places. Like seafood buffets. Have a buddy we ride with to go eat.

Here are a few:
McElroy’s used to be in Biloxi and was where I took my wife on our first date back in 1985. Now in Ocean Springs but still good food.

Ricky’s in Bay St. Louis, Hwy 90 and Dunbar in the shopping center, NE corner, very good seafood.

Shaggy’s in Pass Christian Harbor, local watering hole, good burgers.

The Shed on Hwy 53 in Lyman 1 mile west of Hwy 49, great barbeque.

Steve’s Marina (but nowhere near the water any more) on Airport Road in Gulfport, just east of Hwy 49. I’ve not eaten there since they moved (from Long Beach if I remember right) but I’ve heard it is good.

Of course the casino buffets are always an option, but these are more the local coast places. Enjoy.
