Welcome to the GWOF from AZ. To lower a Wing does create things that will need to be dealt with. A modification to the center stand (or at least carry a board that you can run the rear tire on so that the center stand will work). I have heard that some folks modify the side stand as well because the bike sits more upright and a good wind can blow it over. Additionally the ground clearance on cornering will be less so much more prone to dragging asphalt. All this things arre easily identified and many folks work around them but it is a point of discussion. The old Newton's Law statement of for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction will apply.

Having said all that here is a link for you to address your query.

Can't help with the lowering issue, but welcome aboard!

Not sure where Boynton Beach is, but I wish I lived pretty much anywhere with 'Beach' in the name :D .
