I have just moved back to Florida and looking to pick up riding with some old friends. I found a 2002 Wing with just over 200k miles on it. Looks new and was dealer maintained most of its life. You guys are the experts, any thoughts on how much longer this bike should last? It did pass a leak dow test I was told. What else should I look for? Thanks for any thoughts you may have.

Make sure the frame was welded, as that year was in the recall.
Service Bulletin 14 and 17.
Goldwings as long as they are taken care of can run for 300,000 miles and beyond.

Yup... as my indie mechanic told me... 300K miles if you take care of them just a little bit - as opposed to heavy maintenance needs.

If she's been well cared for, she has a lot of good miles left in her. Ride safe with your friends and enjoy...

There will be a punch mark on the VIN sticker if the weld has been done by a dealer. Right hand side of the sticker after the VIN #
