Got my old engine out today and going to pick the new one up tomorrow. Wan't as hard to get out as I thought it would be. Forgot to disconnect the tach cable and jacked it up. Oh well. Hopefully back on the road soon.

Thanks Trike Lady! I put it on Craigslist as a parts bike and I got tired of the Nigerian scammers wanting to send me a check for twice what I was asking and saying I can keep the bike til the check clears. Can't believe people still fall for that.

I am pissed! Drained to oil and it was all frothy and the color of chocolate milk. Guy said he would guarantee it's a good engine so I sent him an e-mail to see if I could get my money back. Grrrrr!

I know what you mean wvwing there are a lot of people like that out there now days.
Last week I bought a 86 aspencade and the guy said he just put a brand new battery in because he does that to all his bikes every two years and it was tip top shape ready to go anywhere . Well after 28 miles and serveral starts to show it off to friends the battery was dead found out the stator was fried I guess the 28 miles is anywhere.

Well, I gave up. An older disabled fellow came the other day and picked up the whole thing. He dropped his a few weeks ago and needed mine for parts. Was hoping to get it on the road but I don't have time for a project that deep. Also gotta daughter going to college next year so I have to step away from bikes for a while...sigh . Wanted to tell everyone on here a big thanks for all the advice. I will still slink around here from time to time. Ride safe!

Got mine from a police officer. Went to tag it only to find out that it had not been tagged in 3 years. Was ridden in funerals and escorts during that time. 658$ for back taxes. Called him and got a very nasty response. Wonder what he thought when his chief got through with him after talking to his chief!
