Traded in my 2018 for a 2025 Tour DCT Anniversary. Was really hesitant to do it due to all the refarkling required. Only thing I had the dealer due was install the Homelink as I'd already done that once and have no desire to practice bleeding a 2nd time.
Will refarkle all the lighting plus add trunk rack. Going with all Goldstrike lighting, trunk rack and highway pegs. Goldstrike has a distribution module that all the lighting plugs into so don't think I'll need a accessory fuse box for anything this time. Re-adding Helibars. Will wire battery tender/vest lead and radar detector wire direct to battery and ACC fuse terminal. Kept my old Wingstuff bash plate, and tie down hooks and F4 windscreen and Pathblaser manually selectable headlight modulator. So all in all except for trunk rack/brake light add process shouldn't be too painful.
After initial farkle and two air filter changes on my 2018 I'd torn it apart three times. So this farkle project won't involve the front shelter removal. So another 15,000 miles before I face that PIA for the fourth time.
Additionally nice to know the engine hasn't been torn into to replace the clutch bolt.
Really happy I made the jump, got a great deal on the new 2025 and a good deal on my trade-in.
Love the Bordeaux Red, including the faint little painted wings in the brown stripes.
For those thinking about making the jump, here's a list I've compiled of the changes since 2018 that I know about. Corrections welcome.

- Wireless APC. So far (fingers crossed) works flawlessly.
- No OEM nav. (Never used it.)
- Improved fuel injection, suspension update, and DCT update for low speed handling
- Taller passenger backrest that leans back a little bit more for more rider passenger separation
- Plusher seat cover
- Fog lights standard
- XM radio capable standard
- USB in L saddlebag standard, and now that and cubby USB are USB-C
- Better passenger grab rails
- Of course bigger trunk
- Auto volume improvement
- Intercom controls in the audio display. (But not sure why?)
- Really nice display model with the 2025 on one side and the 1975 1000 on the other side; 50th anniversary book also really nice.
