My new 84 Aspencade is my first wing, suprised how well it handles in the twistys, however it is like a tank when trying to put it on the centerstand. Actually I haven't had it on the centerstand yet because I haven't had two other guys around to help. Is there a trick or do I need to workout more?

Someone on this forum suggested a 2x6 board...place rear tire on 2x6 then make sure center stand legs (both) are on the ground...rock backwards and the bike should go up on the center stand easy...I tried it on my '81 GW and it worked great....My biggest fear that I think caused the problem with me was ensuring that both legs of the center stand were on the ground...if you lean the bike towards you the effort required to get it up on the center stand doubles.

Hope this helps....

It really doesn't even have to be a 2 by. It can be as simple as a piece of plywood just that little bit will help.

In reality though it really is just technique I feel. Once you do it several time it is easy.
