So last Friday I took a quick trip (about 500 miles round trip) from Benbrook to Nacogdoches to see my son and family. When I left it was a cool 62 degrees but warmed nicely (when am I ever gonna learn to apply sunscreen!). Beautiful ride thru the piney woods in East Texas - pear trees dogwoods were just blooming. But riding back from Nacogdoches to Tyler - it was in lower 40’s. And even with heated seats and grips it was pretty dad gum cool! Slept in the next morning to ride in 70’s back home. But my GL1800 never ceases to amaze. Turning 50k going home it is just as strong as when I bought it new 8 years ago. I love my wing!

Sounds like a nice ride. I've been through some of that area. Every time I hear someone mention
Nacogdoches I think of a line form a John Wayne movie; Have you ever been to
Nacogdoches?
