Hello all!
I just purchased a 1999 Goldwing 50th Anniversary Edition with about 54,000 miles. It is in beautiful shape with barely a stone chip in the paint. I picked it Tuesday and rode it home from the previous owners house, about a 60 mile ride. It rides like a dream although there are some things I need to get used to. My previous bike had a heel toe shifter where as this one just has the toe shifter. I know there are after market heel toe shifters but I'm trying to adapt. Also, the position of the rear brake is taking a little getting used to. it is quite a bit lower than my previous bike.
I'm sure I'll adapt to all these changes. Took it out to a parking lot today for some slow speed manuevering and planning a longer ride tomorrow to get used to it.
