I am a dealer on Motorcycle.com and it is not free to sell in the classified $4.99 mo is the going rate. Still a good deal if you compare to other sites.

It's also from 2008 that they said it was free. I'm quite sure it changed.

Although as you said $4.99 is a good deal for advertising
