Ok,
Lets try something a little different this time.....I hope. :) I just got my wonderful Wing about 73 days ago, and I'm truly in love with my first GW. It's a 2010 metallic red with 3,654 miles on it. So what year do you have and how many miles do you have on it? I should have over 100K within 5 yrs since I ride daily, rain or shine.

Looks like I'm putting about 10,000 miles on this riding season. I averaged 5,000 a riding season on my VTX. On the VTX 300 miles would have killed me, now if the ride isn't at least 300 miles it hardly seems worth starting the bike up for. By comparison, I do about about 30,000 miles a year in my service van. I do get around, just not always in the style I prefer.

08 I bought March 20 of 08, it was in the shop for about 4 weeks for a dash replacement right after I got it because it didn't fit right, but I have 26,000 miles it. I'm thinking about selling it and getting a Kawasaki Concours 1400 because I don't ride very much any more and all my riding is 1 up. I had a 92 that I had for 8 years and I had 108,000 on it when I sold.

I have a Red 2010 Wing (level 2) that I picked up on June 10 this year (right at 4 months ago) and have 7,045 miles on it as of this morning when I got to work. Figure that I will have about 14,000 miles on it when it turns a year old on June 10, 2011. I figure that if you are going to buy it, you should ride it. I ride all year long. Have the heated clothing (Gerbing) that makes all the difference. I get some looks when it is 10 degrees outside but I am probably warmer than the cagers, since I do not have to wait for it all to warm up like a car engine. I have instant heat. Snow and Ice, I park it and take the truck. I am a little crazy, but not stupid.

Remember, "You can not teach common sense and you can not fix stupidity".
