Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have a 1998 Goldwing 1550SE. My driver seat has a high back swivel backrest attached. I am interested in purchasing a Kuryakyn Gran Tailgater bag #4172. The dimensions of the bag are 21in H x 24 in W x 17 in D. I would like to mount the bag on the passenger seat against the passenger backrest. I also have 2 passenger armrests. Could someone please tell me if this bag will fit and there is adequate room for a bag this size when strapped down. Unfortunately my bike is in storage and I am unable to measure.

Welcome to the site. If memory serves me correct it may be tight. I know I have this one & it fits fine but you can also see it is much smaller.

I have a Utopia backrest and Kury armrests on my '09 and I can carry my gym duffel on the seat no probs. It's about 24" x 12" x 12" (medium cordura) and one good size bungee does the trick.
