I have found a local dealer that has several new 08's left over. The price is 18300 for comfort audio navi. First is this a good price and second are there any major changes/improvements in the 09's. Thanks.

I paid 17,900 for a base 09, so your price sounds good. Improvements in the 09 are the base model has heated seats and TPMS. So the difference is the 08 you are looking at has NAVI but not TPMS. Go for it and enjoy the ride...

When I bought my 08 base model back in March of 08 I paid 16,500 for the bike from the dealer, after tax, license and all other fees it was $18,2000 out the door.
The 09 has TPMS and XM rario, and the TPMS and the heated seat and grips are a source of trouble for most that have them. Buy the base model and add your own after market stuff, it will be better and cheaper and more reliable.
