We are taking a trip across the lonliest raod in america soon, and would like to know some attractions we should not miss. We are going to start in St George and first night in Ely after seeing the Lehman Caves in the Great Basin National Park. Then on to Fernley with all the stops inbetween to get our survival guide stamped, then down to Tonopah next day home through the Extraterrestrial Highway.

If anyone has been through these routes let me know if there are "must see" areas.

I've been around the area a bit, but not recently or for very long. I do know that it's pretty cool country. Hopefully some of our members that are closer will have more info for you. Have a good trip.

I thought the "Lonliest Road in America" was the one where the wife had to drive you home after you did something really stupid...LOL
