Anybody know how to get inside the left hand mirror on an 1800--mine has an internal rattle that is loud enough to be heard on a RR crossing or a rough road. Don't want to tear anything up, but would like to fix it. Thanx.

The mirror is not loose, it does not vibrate or shake, or move, other than the normal adjustment by pushing on one side. Will try to look behind the rubber boot for a loose screw..............thanx
