Kansas City to Niagara Falls

It would be slow with a LOT of stop and go. It would often be rough as Washington Street is in need of serious repair. And, there are a couple of blocks that, while not "dangerous", you might not be very comfortable. Something in particular you're interested in seeing?
If you DO want to see downtown: Take 36(Rockville Road) east to Holt Road. Go south to I-70 and go thru town on the slab.
As I earlier offered if you'd like to take a day to ride some curves I could guide you or map you.

If covered bridges interest you plan to spend some time in Rockville Indiana http://www.parkecountyguide.com/
If you want to avoid Indy: US36 east, IN39 north, IN32 east, IN38 east back to US36.
If you would like to take a 250 mile loop and ride the best roads in Indiana let me know.
Take 36 to US62. Millersburg and Berlin Ohio is Amish country. Good food. (my favorite: mrsyoderskitchen.com) Berlin is a nice tourist trap of a town. Quilt shopping etc. Go around Youngstown on 11 and east on the slab back to US62 which runs up along the Allegheny River.
Seldom do people talk about the riding in PA, IN, OH, or KY but central PA is a rider' dream. All the roads run along streams or rivers. We have visited it twice recently. Every year we go to Stanton Kentucky and ride the local roads. FANTASTIC riding!
While in NY plan a trip thru the Adirondacks. The good riding in Ohio is in the south east . OH555 is an excellent mc road.
