Just got my Gold Book in the mail this week, and was thumbing thru it last night. It says that here in Minnesota, you can only have one head phone ear piece in your helmet..:huh: I did not know that.

Most states are the same way, they want you to be able to hear emergency vehicles. But who is going to check????????

I don't know what the law is here. But we can talk and text and drive here. I can even text, motorcycle, shift gears and accelerate!
It is a learned skill.

And in another thread someone asked WHY WOULD YOU LET GO OF THE HANDLEBARS??

duh. now you know!

Headphones? Check carefully, they are often described as "speakers", not headphones.

Of course, if you are using something like earbuds, then yes, that could be dangerous.
