Hi All,
Just bought my first wing; '85 GW1200 Interstate. Had it for 3 months and put almost 10,000 miles on it. I'm quickly reaching 100k miles. Is there anything I should be watching out for? The timing chain, altenator, front fork seals and brakes have been done so far. Thanks!

Welcome to the board from Pa and congrats on your new Wing. If you have the owners manual it will give you a list of items to be serviced. Have the Wing serviced and you will be good to go for another 100K. Good luck and ride safe.

Welcome also winginit85. Something I did on my '84 was to install an amperage meter (I put mine on the lower right panel of the fairing in easy eye shot) just to monitor the electrical system/stator condition. The repalcement stators are higher output now, but with all the bells and whistles we get involved with you can still overtax the charging system. It saved me more than once on a long trip. Enjoy.
