Leaving first thing in the morning to do an IBA warm-up.
NW Alabama through Mississippi to Memphis, TN. to Arkansas then Steele, MO. and loop around. Should be 700 to 800 miles.
I have a room in Tunica, MS if I get to Missouri and decide to Bail. I think I can do this in 15 hours. We shall see

700 in 11 hours is solid. Obviously my main challenge will be dealing with the heat and traffic.
I am planning to do the IBA with Ralphumor in July. Just don't want to go in without practice.

My challenge wasn't heat, it was snow! It was my first real ride of the year and wasn't planned!

Now thats a man that is thinking, my riding buddy and I are going to the west at the end of July and we have been doing a couple of 700 to 800 for the work up for our first day we want to do a 1K. good luck and be SAFE.

I am thinking about doing the same thing. I figured I would start out as if I was going to do the SS1000, that way if I get to the halfway point, and am still feeling good, I could keep going. Good Luck on your practice run!

Go REF Go ! , You can do it. It's all mind over matters. But if you have to bail out, then bail out...there's always next time. Focus,stay awake, stay alive...Best of luck & be safe.

Only Interstate I saw from Arkansas to Home was a brief run on 55. Probably not my best idea
