OK, I did a dumb thing right before it got dark.
My battery was dead on my 2009 Goldwing and I
jumped the bike from my car so the wife and I could get a quick
ride in before dark.
Well I crossed the jumper cables, and you know what happened.....
The bike is completely dark, no lights on the dash or anywhere....
I checked the 30 amp main fuse, it looks good. Should I get a new
one and be sure?

You might have gotten lucky and just blew a fuse. If I remember correctly there is also a larger fuse.

There is a 120 A and a 30 A fuse coming off the battery in the fuse box. It looks like everything goes throught those two fuses. Hopefully one or both of them blow before anything got damaged.
