I have an 2004 Goldwing and the owners manual shows the lo and hi range marks on the dipstick and mine appears to be at the top of the range. However, I tried to stick a tester in the hole to suck out some fluid to check the condition of it and it certianly want reach with the 6" hose and I can't get it out of the radiator either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm guessing you are trying to use an automotive hydrometer & bulb to test the coolant? You can do the old fashioned syphon trick, just be careful since glycol is toxic. If that makes you squeamish, use a 'jiggle' syphon and a longer hose to drain it.

Use some fish tank hose. Stick it down the hole and connect the end to a (and don't use your wife's) turkey baster. Suck some out and test.

Got It

Thanks for the inputs. Hated to ask the question because it was probably something ridiculously simple to some. I took two of the testers and cut the hose off of one and used a splice to connect them and it sucked it out. Thanks, again!
