Hello,
I'm new to the forum so I'll apologize ahead of time for any stupidity. I have an '81 GL1100 that I love and replaced the factory footpegs and associated front engine cagework to install a Markland style floorboard kit. I love the floorboards, but I really miss having hiway pegs. For the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to achieve both without creating some Rube Goldberg monstrosity. Anyone out there conquered this problem with good results? I'd love any help.

hello and welcome to GWOF chazmoto. if you have engine guards on your wing you can mount the highway peg / boards to them. almost no such thing as a stupid question

Engine Guards Gone

Thanks for replying... see, that's the deal, I had to remove the engine guards to allow for the mounting of the front of the floorboard assembly as they use the same attachement points.

could you use a longer bolt so you could mount the floorboards and keep the engine guards
